Rainbow Ice Cream (K-2 Dream)

Six scoops for me, please!
Students in K-2nd grade Dream discussed the colors of the rainbow in order at the beginning of the school year.  For some it was a review and for others it was the first time they had a chance to think Roy G. Biv (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet).  We took those rainbow colors and created our own six scoop ice cream cones.  Each color was a different flavor as we moved our way down the scoops to the sugar cone.  We then painted our large cone with watercolor paints.  We added a black background to make the colors even brighter!

I love ice cream!

Painting is messy but fun!

Lefty or Righty we all do GREAT work!

We wish these were real cones to eat!
